One of the best classic Mac OS9 games, = Fun: This review is from: Shadow Wraith (CD-ROM) I used to play this game as a kid on an old LC575, and then again on an iMac (albeit with a few static-y tracks). It CAN emulate on VMware OR [PearPC AND (Executor OR BasiliskII)], provided you are willing to install OS7.5 (freeware now, courtesy of Apple) or purchase an old copy of OS9. However, doing so is NOT trivial or for the faint of heart.Conversely, just get an old Mac and go to town. Even so, it was worth every second. Solid 2d shooter that is more like an RPG; the maze-like levels get more difficult as one progresses, the weapons are fun and the enemies a delight to combat at every step of the way. My friend used to love the game for the music alone- there has to be a soundtrack somewhere. |
