The infant car seat looks great and practical (the hood cover seems MUCH better than the one on the Chicco Keyfit) but I have only a mid-sized car and a very tall husband (6"4)... we had to push the passenger seat all the way to the front in order to get the car seat + base secured in the back seat. My husband can't sit in the passenger seat anymore so just make sure that if you get this seat that you have lots of room in the back (better in a minivan/SUV/truck, I suppose).

Guess what?! You are going to have to eventually buy 3 carseats for your kiddo, no matter how big of an infant carrier you purchase. I've carried this godawful thing around for a year and I've come here to encourage you to buy a reasonably sized infant carrier. I don't buy that this thing will even take a 35lb baby. Mine is 23lb, and you can barely get the straps around her. Do yourself a favor and get a normal sized infant carrier. Your arms will thank me later.

Our baby isn't due for a month so I haven't actually used it yet, but I really like the quality of the fabric and how easy it is to use. I used a Chicco KeyFit infant car seat for our first two kids, but gave it away to a friend when I was done using it. I decided to get the Graco SnugRide for baby #3 because I have a Phil & Teds double stroller and the infant car seat adaptor is easier to use with the Graco. If it wasn't for my stroller compatibility issue I probably would have bought the Chicco KeyFit again, I like the quality better than the Graco.
Overall, I think the SungRide 35 is going to work great and be very comfortable for my baby.
