The Chelsea is designed to protect the back of your automobile seat from scuffs, scratches and dirt. While children are in their car seats they seem to have a universal desire to kick which takes a toll on your car's interior. The Chelsea is unlike any other seat back protector on the market. This is being designed in a better method for attaching it to your seat for more secure fit and used high quality rip-stop nylon for durability and easy cleaning. The Chelsea is attached to the headrest posts with adjustable tabs. This extends over the sides of your seat to provide additional protection and has a quick release buckle at the bottom which is easy to attach and tighten. This fits most model cars except those that have the shoulder belt within the seat.Features include:

It seems to be very well made. It was easy to install and it fit well in my car (Mazda5). As other reviewers mention, this seat cover protects both the back of the seat and the sides of the car seat. In my car, the sides were about half covered by the protector. When I installed it, I realized that the the seat protector is a potential serious safety hazard, as it obstructs the side air bags. My owner's manual (for my car) specifically states that nothing should be placed over the seat which would obstruct the side air bags. Such an obstruction could do one of two things, according to my manual:1.) Prevent the side air bag from functioning 2.) Cause the side air bag to function, but in an unplanned way, thereby potentially injuring passengers I wouldn't want either thing to happen, in the event of an accident. Our son's forward-facing carseat is in the middle of the back seat so his shoes always come in contact w/the inner side of both front seats and none of the seat-back covers on the market that I found cover that area. This cover is made of a very sturdy and nice-looking material (similar to luggage material). It has a sleek design and looks square and trim and neat on the seat-back. It goes all the way down to the bottom and covers the back portion of both sides of the front seat. It just fit our seats (2006 Toyota Highlander) so I think it would work w/most large seats. If you need 2 like we do, it's a little pricey, but there's nothing else out there that I've found to solve this problem. It has a nice clean design that doesn't junk up your car too much.
