Not only is it very pretty (I received the purple) but it is exactly what I have been looking for. I have fine hair that is about 2 feet past my shoulders. It goes through my hair very easily and the bristles are just the right texture. I would highly recommend this brush. I have thick fairly straight hair with some decent body to it... this will tend to flatten it out too much to use for styling. but I love how soft it makes it before bed or using it on wet hair before blow-drying. The MAIN reason i got it was for my little girls' hair. It is so much softer than most brushes and doesn't pull at knots, it just smooths them out gently! a great brush.
