The sole is sturdy for those small footholds and quite comfortable throughout a 2-4 hour session. Only complaint I have is that my left, big toe is always feeling tons of pain (although, that could be the need for me to go up a half size, otherwise my left foot is just weird). Regardless, I've been bouldering at a local gym for a few months, and these continue to be awesome. The shape is not very aggressive so you can wear them for a long time without feeling uncomfortable.Sizing runs true to regular sizes. I recommend going a 1/2 size down for a better climb.
