Currently she has thin shoulder covers which do not keep her head in place. Watching her head bounce side to side, I knew it was time to get her some much needed support. I then purchased the Prop-o Headsupport to do just that...support her head. The supports are soft and not as firm as I'd like them to be but they do the job. My daughter is happy now and can sleep comfortably with the "added pillow" support and no more thin shoulder covers. The new supports are easy to toss in the washer when they get dirty. I had discovered in my child-birthing classes that the average head support devices create a distance between the baby and the car seat, and with even only being a centimeter thick that distance was enough to determine if the baby would survive a car accident or not. I had even gone to the local highway patrol to have a car seat installed and asked them about it and they confirmed. Not only is this product the safest, it's velcro made it easy to put on and it's easy to wash. I was terrified that most head support devices could do that, and that most infant carseats are sold with them..
