This inexpensive tote protected my Britax carseat well during recent flights my son. However, before purchasing, you should know a few things that make it less than ideal. I would recommend this item to parents who fly infrequently and don't want to buy the Gogo Babyz Travelmate because of its cost.

1) If your carseat is huge and clunky, the tote won't change that. The tote is simply a bag to protect the carseat. My husband wore our carseat inside the tote as a backpack and it was so huge that when he turned around a few times, he almost hit people standing near-by. The handles are okay, but imagine they are the same height as your seat so the tote isn't very ergonomic to pull because the handles are lower than a typical carry-on suitcase. Also, I tried pulling the tote and found myself pulling the side without wheels and I caused a tear.
2) Security takes more time. We gate checked our seat which meant we had to bring it with us through security. We also had our... Read more

Well made, rolls great using the dual handles, and protects the car seat during air travel. I love the fact that it turns into a back pack too, but the straps need shoulder pads. I have a Britax Boulevard and it is a tight squeeze getting it in the bag and it is heavy. All that weight on nylon straps cutting through your skin is unpleasant. Overall happy though and would recommend.

Perfect Fit for our Safety 1st car seat. Inexpensive and does the job. For the few flights we take, I was glad to find a bag the didn't cost more than half the car seat itself, simple and to the point. My husband appreciated the backpack straps and wheels. They are not padded and the wheels are not the best...but it gets you through. Great purchase!

We were involved in a highway accident. Something happened to the tire, I lost control of the car at 70 MPH, we did a 180 and slammed into the concrete barrier (on the rear side, where my kids were). I have three kids, my two daughters were on the side that got hit. My 22 month old daughter is in this carseat, and my 3-year-old in the older model boulevard. They walked away without a scratch. My almost two-year-old slept through the whole thing! She only woke up because my 3-year-old was crying (because she was scared, not hurt). My sister and I were in the front seat and we are okay, but very sore, whip lash, etc. I'm amazed that my children aren't even talking about the accident, and they aren't even the slightest bit sore, even though they were a lot closer to the place of impact! My husband and I don't have much money, but car seats were something that we weren't going to skimp on. Now I am so thankful that we did. We will definitely stick with Britax forever.

We have only had the seat for a week so I will update my review after a few months but I must say:

1. I LOVE the ease of installation on this seat. I have LATCH and installed Rear-Facing in my 2006 Acura TL, rear passenger side on the full recline setting (required for rear-facing mode) and it was perfect. No towel or pool noodle needed like our Recaro ProRide. Its perfectly level with the ground and at a perfect angle for my 11 month old to ride comfortably. The latch belts are attached to the metal bars on the sides of the seat so you just slide it to the front of the seat for RF position! No rerouting or removing covers or anything like that! How simple, I was literally amazed at how easy they designed this. It took me 3 times longer to read the whole manual (ALWAYS read the whole manual first) than it did to adjust the strap position and install it.

I had a very large 6 month old who was about to outgrow her infant carrier so I needed a convertible car seat pretty early on. Did a lot of research and even bought a graco signature which was so big we couldn't get it comfortably in the back of my Honda CR-V. Britax got high ratings for safety so we got this one and I'm very happy with it. It is safe and comfortable and fits very well in the car (we have it placed in the center). Found it $100 cheaper on Amazon than the other stores. Might purchase another for our other car. We've only used it in rear facing position so far but it's been great. Easy to install and easy to get the baby in and out.

    We've owned the b-ready for a while now and have mainly used it with the chaperone car seat along with the lower car seat attachment. A couple of times now we've had the stroller tip over backwards if nobody is seated in the top part. I called Britax to make them aware of this and they said it was in the user guide that someone has to be seated in the top. I think that's a major flaw in the design. So if the child on top decides they no longer want to sit, you are supposed to remove the bottom infant to the top seat, but yet the top seat does not sit an infant comfortably as it cannot recline all the way due to the infant seat being on the bottom (of course you could chose to remove the ridiculously heavy car seat from the bottom and carry it around while strolling the stroller) My other issue is, why is this not stated anywhere prior to the purchase? it is not on their product description anywhere. I would not have purchased the adapter had I known that.

    I had to buy this so i can use the carseat in the bottom position but one of the extender piece that comes with it(for use on top to extend the seat out for more room on the lower seat) does not click in all the way, if you pull up on it it comes right out. It must be a bad piece because everything else clicks in just fine. I will call them and hopefully they will send me a new piece. Expensive for a metal bar made in china. I called Britax and they were very accomadating and shipped me a new extender piece same day. Great customer service.

    This is incredibly easy to put on the B Ready stroller however, the instruction manual doesn't tell you how to fit the adapters onto the car seat in order to snap your car seat onto the stroller. You have to look at the stroller manual to find that information on page 16. Other than that, it feels sturdy and it literally just clicks into place. Great product!
