Intake and exhaust cams sold separately. Drastically improves midrange and top-end power. Comes with adjustable sprockets (factory preset at 105 and 107). Exhaust cam includes auto-decompression mechanism. Uses stock valve springs.

    I searched for good helmet for a long time. My old one was unbearable after 30 min. of riding.The first time I wore this helmet we did an overnight trip and rode in a temperature range from 60 degrees F. to 104 degrees F. There was no discomfort at all, no itchy head,no painful pressure points, no sweating. I love the double visor, the tinted drop down is great when riding into the sun.

    I'm a die-hard wind-in-your-face kind of rider. I have ridden over 65,000 miles with a half helmet - shunning face shields, windshields, fairings, and pretty much anything that gets between me and the breeze. I ride in hot, cold, windy, and rainy conditions. So, what about this helmet made me choose to cover my ears and put on a face shield? Price and Features.

    This helmet allows me to still feel the breeze -- just rotate the faceshield up one notch or all the way up. I can ride in changing light conditions (i.e. early mornings, late evenings, and through tunnels) with out stopping to change my glasses -- just slide the internal sun visor up or down. I can't stand having my cheeks pushed in to my teeth. This helmet doesn't do that and is far more comfortable than a full-face helmet.

    Excellent helmet for the price. Comparable Shoei helmets (with fewer features) will cost you a lot more.

    A nice helmet but for some reason corners were a little short. The visor is not dark enough. I purchased the darkest replacement made and it still is not as dark as my sunglasses. It would have been nice if HJC allowed two sunvisors to be attached at the same time.

    Another issue is lack of a overhanging sun visor but the shield would prevent the helmet from having one. The clear front shield should have been heavy tinted at the bottom 2 inches. Pull the shield up and it would become an instant sun shade visor.

    The helmet did not fit as well as the previous HJC and it was a size smaller. Go figure.

    The headsets in the ears were not cut out making installation very difficult. I had to totally take the ear liners out as well as the foam to do a decent job of cutting the headset holes. It would have been really nice if this was pre-cut at the factory to make headset easier to install.
